DSGB Challenge Cup takes place in London2016-03-03
London played host to the first ever international Challenge Cup on 27th February.
The one-day event at Southside Ballroom in south west London attracted 80 competitors in total, representing seven countries including England, Wales, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Latvia and Estonia.
Dancers of all ages participated in both styles of dancing. Across the 44 events that ran throughout the day, including 24 Standard (Ballroom) and 20 Latin American competitions, dancers from all background and experiences took part in a range of class level and open 5-dance competitions. Competing alongside the juvenile, junior, youth and adult couples are hobby and social class dancers.
