What a Year!2020-12-21
The 2020 season started on a high note.
On 16th February an all-grades dance festival was taking place, with DSGB members taking part in 6 different categories.
The beautiful Coney Hall was full of dancers, young and old. From Juvenile Beginners, to Juniors 1 & 2, to Youth & Adult participants in Standard and Latin, it was an incredibly successful day.
The first sign of trouble came when some of the trophies could not be presented due to delivery issues in Asia.
Few could have predicted that isolated cases of flu would grow into a Worldwide disaster.
As the country went into lockdown, events had to be paused, with DSGB dancers practising on Zoom.
We wish all our members a Happy 2021!
We can’t wait to come back on the floor, to dance, improve and see our dance partners and friends again!
